The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has established a well-equipped 200-bed hospital at Balakot for providing free medical and health facilities to the earthquake victims.

Talking to the newsmen here on Monday, SCCI President Dr Nouman Idrees Butt and Senior Vice-President Faisal Mehmood Khan said all the trade bodies in this export-oriented city had donated the relief goods worth Rs 200 million for the earthquake victims.

They said the Sialkot business community was bearing all the expenditures for the complete medical treatment of the patients, under treatment in the CMH and the other government hospitals in Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial, Pasrur, Shakargarh and Narowal.
